Still Alive
Just a quick post to let you all know that we are still alive and kicking. Nothing really interesting has been happening lately, so any updates would sound identical "Went to work today. Came home, watched CSI (or Law and Order), went to bed. Got up, went to work today...."
Richard has spent the last couple of days going over to Dartmouth for some sort of oceanography-related conference, but it's all greek to me!
It's really yicky and rainy and windy out today, but Richard still got on his bike (with new waterproof booties) to go to work. Wimpy ol' me will be driving, but I would like to point out that I walked to work yesterday. It was actually sunny and nice, although the wind was a bit chilly. (Nevermind that I had to walk because Richard needed the car to go to the aforementioned conference in Dartmouth). I still walked. And we're still playing ball hockey on the weekends when the weather is nice. I've managed to learn how to coordinate all four limbs and hockey stick by now, although my ball-handling skills leave much to be desired.
Friday (Rememberance Day) is a holiday here in Nova Scotia, so Richard and I can have a nice day together--we'll probably rent some movies or something.
I just realized that we never posted a picture of our new (well, new to us, anyhow) car! Here it is in all its silver glory on Labour Day weekend at Prim Point:
