I feel like chicken tonight!
Anyone else remember that commercial?
Tonight I'm cooking for the rest of the week since Richard and I both work such crazy hours. We've already eaten dinner and I'm quite full, but the smell of this chicken is driving me CRAZY! I just pulled it out of the oven and the meat is falling off the bones and mmmmmmmmm..... drool.
The recipe is one I got from a great cook I know (Oliverio!), who got it from his grandmother.... hope it's not a secret!
lots of garlic
onion, chopped
cinnamon or five spice
black pepper
juice from one lemon
juice from one orange
soy sauce-- lots?
ketchup--same lots as soysauce
as you can see, cooking is a precise science for me. Actually, I had to leave out the orange juice because I don't have any. But yum yum.

unfortunately no, it's not a secret recipe. i've been mixing these ingredients for marinating pork chops, drumsticks, etc. but kudos to your chef... ;-)
< oh, at last...i got in your blog..answered your other ones but unfortunately got problems w/ sending it...then my pc crashed...then I thought I lost your website...Chalkie gave me one but it was on my favorites all along....didn't recognize the name, that's why...well Oliverio is honored to have you try one of his favorite recipes..now that he can't have too much salt & fat in his diet, he's been discovering more spices he's allowed...& of course I'm the tester...lucky him...they all taste good to me!!!>
