Snork, Snort, Ah-choo!
Those are the sounds that have been filling our little apartment for the last week or so. Richard is just getting over a cold characterized by puffy, watery eyes, runny nose, and incontrollable sneezing; I'm just getting started.
I have no new pictures to show you because I always forget to take pictures while it is sunny out.
I thought this would be a good time to participate in the meme Lynda tagged me for:
1. Get tagged
2. List five things on your blog that have not been previously revealed
3. Tag five other people
Well, right off the bat I'm going to break the rules. I don't do 'tags' - Sorry Lynda, if I'm spoiling the fun. Actually, that can be numero uno....
1. I don't ever complete chain letters or anything resembling them. This includes email forwards that promise or threaten, memes, and actual chain letters whether they involve post cards, underwear, or bad luck.
2. I love pickled herring. Particularly as a side dish for boxed macaroni and cheese. I learned this one from my dad.
3. This is hard. What could the internet possibly want to know about me? My favourite movie is The Fifth Element. This is a triple-whammy for me, actually. Aliens, Bruce Willis and Luc Besson? The trifecta of excellent moviehood.
4. My brother and I might possibly have a psychic connection. No, really. Or morphic fields, or something. Even though we're not both living at home anymore, we still finish each other's sentences, share jokes without having to really say anything, and feed off eachother's affection for terrible movies. (Steven Seagal, anyone?) Or maybe we're just really close. Whatever. Psychic is more fun.
5. I am really bad with "important" dates. Birthdays, anniversaries, and so on. (Though you might have guessed that.) I keep thinking Richard's birthday is in November (it's not), I can't remember my dad's birthday (early 20s in May - 21?22?), and when people ask me when my wedding anniversary is, I always have to go ask Richard (end of May sometime). Heh.
So, no tags for this one. But here's a kind of tag for you. Richard and I rented The Departed the other night, and really enjoyed it. Lots of action, lots of suspense, decent acting. (Not that I have terribly high standards. See Seagal, above. hehehe.)
