Progress
This is the kind of progress I make with 10 straight days of miserable rain and several James Bond movies:
I believe that I should also include in this recipe a disinclination to clean or cook (tho' I did do some of those things, just not as much as I should). As you can see the first sock is finito, save ends being woven in and blocking. Any suggestions for blocking knee socks? And the second sock is halfway through the heel flap. I'm still using those kicky blue plastic needles, and knitpicks gloss in woodland sage.

I've got some gloss left over from a project and have been looking at that pattern. Looks like they're a good match.
