Overheard at a yarn store
"Look at this, it's bamboo"
"Oh, neat - I read about that!"
"It's nice earth colours"
"Mm-hmm."
"Kindof cool, huh?"
"You want me to make socks for you out of that, don't you."
"Not if you don't want to."
"Give it here..."
(How can I say "no"? I just finished a pair for myself.)
So, new wool and bamboo Trekking socks for Richard. And as you can see below, I finished my drooly delicious candy socks, in plain stockinette. I finally sat down and listened to the yarn, and this is what it wanted to be.

*My goodness! Is that skin you see? Why, yes, those are my legs. It is a balmy, beautiful day today, and of course as soon as I finish this post, I'm off to work INSIDE all day. Poo.

Oooh, such happy socks :) And it was lovely this weekend! I spent all weekend working so I was inside too.
I've wanted to try bamboo blend sock yarn, but haven't seen any in person yet. I'm interested in how it will knit up.
hello...Knitter's Treat Exchange pal here...your package is on its way but will take some time to get to you. I hope the wait will be worth it :^)
