This and That
Sorry, no long post or crazy pictures today, I've been a little busy this week, and now that I've got the time to sit down, it's pouring rain and lousy for pictures.
I've been busy because I've been preparing for a job interview, and being interviewed, and being offered a job! If everything works out (they're just checking my last reference) I will be starting a 2 month contract with the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, with the possibility of extending the contract either next May, or maybe even in November. By the by, anyone who is in Halifax over the next little bit should definitely go see their "Camera On the Banks" exhibit. I've said it before, and now I'll say it again -- sooooo goooood!
I've sent out my ksks swap package to Sarah, and she's posted a picture of it here, which is good, because I forgot to take a picture of it. Oops.
In other news, this weekend Richard tested his single-speed bicycle and so far, so good. He built it out of two other bikes, and a couple of parts he had to buy. Apparently, this type of gearing is good for training, and for winter biking. So he is doing the 'real' test today by riding it to work in the rain.
Oh, okay, I guess I can give you a picture of that.
And one last thing. My brother turned 24 yesterday. Happy Birthday, Michael!
