whaddaya think?

Two in one day? what is the world coming to?

Here's a little bag I sewed up this afternoon for the knit sock kit swap thing. I really like it, and I think my pal will, but the finishing is a leetle iffy--I cannot sew in a straight line, apparently. It's not terrible, and not going to fall apart, and better than the projects I did in 7th grade (A's thankyouverymuch), so it can't be that bad.
The bag is made out of vintage fabric from Value Village (well, I assume from the very retro prints that it's vintage), and is reversible.

So the question is, do I do the work of making up a little zippy notions bag to go with it and send this puppy off?
Or am I just reluctant to send it because I really want to keep it for myself?

Love the bag! I would definitely send it on or make a twin so you can keep one for yourself. Great job!

I think it's great and it doesn't need to be perfect - it's hand made and that's what's important.

looks great to me! I"m sure your buddy will love it!

For a simple zippy bag, try this: https://www.nancysnotions.com/NNVia/CustomPages/tenminutetotables.htm

It's pretty easy to make it with just regular fabric (not pre quilted) if you want. A lined version is easy to do, but hard to explain in just text. Let me know if you want directions for that and I'll see if I can come up with something. hope dot martin at gmail dot com
