Fun Finds

This weekend when Richard and I made a (what is becoming a weekly) pilgrimmage to Value Village, we found some wooden framed produce signs - the kind that advertise 'red peppers - $1.99/lb' or somesuch tidbit. It's double sided, and since it came to no harm when we walked home with it in the rain, it is apparently waterproof. The letters are printed on thick plastic-y bits that are one sided, so that the other side can be decorated or lettered to suit.
Of course I wanted one.
A not-so-subtle message to my veggie-phobe of a husband.

It didn't come with all the letters of the alphabet, but many of the common ones. I think the 'y' is actually an upside-down 'h'. I have no idea what I'm going to do with this, but it's interesting. A little time consuming to be a message board, but if I ever do another craft show it'll sure come in handy. Or party signs. Or if I permanently lose my voice.

You remind me of my daughter. This is like something she would do.
